1) HCA or CNA Caregiver
About the Role:
As an HCA or CNA Caregiver, you will work under the direction of the Client Care Manager and the general guidance of the participant. You will provide supportive care to clients, assisting with instrumental activities of daily living to help them maintain independence in their homes.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must pass the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI background check.
Must have reliable transportation and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
Must satisfactorily complete both the State and the Family Champion Homecare Competency and Skill Exam.
Must be able to function in a home setting with minimal supervision.
Must follow verbal and written instructions and document services provided.
Must have a genuine concern for helping people and uphold high moral standards of honesty and integrity.
2) Driver
About the Role:
As a Driver for Family Champion Homecare, you will ensure reliable and safe transportation for our clients. Responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance for the vehicle, planning trips based on road and traffic conditions, and delivering excellent customer service.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a driver.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50).
Familiarity with GPS devices and knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods.
Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage.
Availability for occasional weekend and night shifts.
A polite and professional demeanor.
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g., rush hour).
A high school diploma.
Family Champion Homecare values and rewards our dedicated staff through our Caregiver Referral Bonus Program! Employees can earn up to $300 for every qualified caregiver they refer.
- The referring employee will receive $100 once the new caregiver successfully completes their firs day.
- An additional $100 will be awarded after the referred caregiver completes 30 days of employment.
- The final $100 will be granted after 60 days of employment, bringing the total referral bonus to $300.
